On this special occasion, fans of the superstar were treated to a surprise as Green Studio unveiled the first song, called the ‘Fire Song’, from the highly anticipated film fantasy drama – Kanguva. With the song, makers plan to retain the momentum among fans.
The song’s launch comes as a part of the birthday celebration of Tamil superstar Suriya with the Hindi version of the track sung by BPraak and Pavithra Chari, along with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and lyrics penned by Raqueeb Alam.
Speaking of the song, ‘Fire’ aims at encapsulating Suriya’s character in the fantasy entertainer that reflects his ferocious, daredevil persona. While his avatar is described as a ‘lion’s roar and firestorm’ by the makers, the song is said to be a fitting tribute to his intense role in the movie. The track comprises of powerful beats and compelling visuals which are designed to reflect the character’s wild and untamed spirit, setting the tone for the epic journey.
Produced under the banner of Studio Green, Kanguva is one of the most ambitious projects of the year with an estimated budget exceeding Rs. 350 crores and it has been filmed across seven countries and various regions of India. Capturing the essence of the prehistoric era, the film’s grandeur is further amplified by its collaboration with Hollywood experts in the fields of action and cinematography.
One of the film’s most talked-about features is its massive war sequence, involving over 10,000 extras, showcasing the scale and ambition of the production. Starring Disha Patani as the leading lady and marking the Tamil debut of popular actor Bobby Deol who will be seen as the antagonist, the film is scheduled for release on October 10, 2024 in multiple South languages as well as Hindi.
