The ace director turned author, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra launches his first book yesterday late evening, an autobiography titled, ‘The Stranger in the Mirror’ with a big event at the Jio World Drive Mall in Bandra, Mumbai.
Talking about the book, Mehra says, “The Stranger in the Mirror is the outlet to what I want to convey. This book is combined by those movements which we couldn’t express till today”.
The foreword in his book has been given by legendary music composer, A.R. Rahman and the afterword has been given by the superstar, Aamir Khan.
Mehra has given some of the most memorable and entertaining classics to the audience as a director, having worked with some of the most talented superstars, credited for films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Rang De Basanti, Delhi-6 among many others.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is a name that all of India knows by heart and his autobiography, ‘The Stranger in the Mirror’, was highly anticipated by the audience as all were excited to get an insight into the life of this filmmaking genius.
