Fighter box office collection day 1: Director Siddharth Anand’s much-awaited film Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, has taken a fair start at the box office.
Jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the Hindi aerial action-drama has got succeed to impress many critics and received mostly positive reviews. From the audience as well, it is getting positive reactions which will definitely reflect in its performance over the weekend.
Fighter was started its journey at a slow note with around 12% occupancy in the morning but successfully managed to show significant growth post noon shows in metros and registered a fair opening.
On Friday, Fighter has done the business of Rs 24.60 crores and emerged as the 8th highest opener of the year so far in Hindi Cinema. Due to the positive word of mouth and Republic day holiday tomorrow, the film is expected to take good jump.
The movie is about top Indian air force aviators who come together to face a massive danger to form Air Dragon.
