The upcoming Vijay Deverakonda-starrer “VD13” is now titled “Family Star”. Directed by Parasuram, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur in female lead. The makers of the film on Wednesday shared the teaser and made the announcement of the Telugu film.
Production House, Sri Venkateswara Creations took to Twitter and shared a glimpse of the film. They wrote, “Presenting a glimpse of the Mass Filled entertainer #FamilyStar to all of you ❤️🔥 In cinemas Sankranthi 2024 🔥”.
In the video, Vijay Deverakonda is seen bringing children home and performing housework. When a builder makes fun of him for his domestic duties, Deverakonda demonstrates his “mass side” by beating up the rowdies. Mrunal Thakur addresses him as “Yemandi” at the end of the video. The short clip attempted to mix action and family elements.
The film also has a talented crew with composer Gopi Sunder who also previously worked on Geetha Govindham will be handling the musical tracks and scores.
The cinematography will be done by actress Malavika Mohanan’s father K U Mohanan, who has worked on numerous like Don (2006), Andhadhun, Maharshi, and Aadujeevitham starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
