The much-awaited announcement teaser of Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 was released by the makers on the occasion of actor’s birthday.
He took to social media to share the teaser with the caption, “Bas mujhe kuch aur der zinda rakh… #Awarapan2 in cinemas, 3rd April 2026. #Awarapan2 @VisheshB7 @Visheshfilms #MukeshBhatt #VisheshFilms.”
Released in 2007, Awarapan was an intense action-drama directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The film followed Shivam Pandit, played by Hashmi, a hitman working for a Hong Kong-based gangster, Malik (Ashutosh Rana). Shivam was tasked with keeping an eye on Reema (Shriya Saran), a woman held captive by Malik.
But when he discovered her desperate desire to escape and reunite with her lover, he found himself at a moral crossroads. Defying Malik’s orders, he chose to help Reema, triggering a deadly confrontation that ultimately led to his redemption.
Produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Vishesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films, Awarapan 2 is set to hit the big screens on 3rd April 2026.
