Maddock Films has officially unveiled the teaser for one of its most ambitious projects yet: Eetha, a biographical drama starring Shraddha Kapoor and Randeep Hooda.

Following the astronomical box-office runs of Stree 2 and Chhaava, producer Dinesh Vijan is back with another captivating narrative rooted deeply in Indian culture, slated to hit theaters on August 28, 2026.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the teaser opens to the rustic and vibrant setting of a traditional Marathi folk theatre caravan (Bhau Gavkar Tamasha Mandal). The tone shifts quickly from celebration to grueling tension as Shraddha Kapoor’s character goes through agonizing childbirth pains backstage. Despite warnings from those around her that she might lose her life if she steps onto the stage in this state, she delivers a chilling, spine-tingling line that encapsulates the spirit of the film:
“Pade-pade mari to bechari kehlaungi par naachte hue mari to misaal ban jaungi.” (If I die lying down, I will be called a poor helpless woman, but if I die dancing, I’ll become an example.)
The film is explicitly labeled as “Based on Incredible True Events”, tracing the life of a legendary Tamasha and Lavani artist who prioritized her craft over human limits. The hard-hitting background score by the iconic duo Ajay-Atul elevates the teaser’s frantic energy, setting the stage for a spectacular cinematic experience.
The film also features Randeep Hooda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles.
