After a long wait, the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ is all set for its release tomorrow i.e December 5th. This will be the fourth asset of the film, after its teaser, song ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ and the lyrical video ‘Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se‘.
The narrative of Dunki revolves around the theme of illegal immigration, portraying the aspirations of teenagers and youngsters from small towns to pursue careers abroad. True to Rajkumar Hirani’s signature style, the film weaves in a social message, blended with comedy and emotional elements.
Dunki features an ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. It is written by Hirani and his long-time collaborator Abhijat Joshi, who has penned films like 3 Idiots, PK, Sanju, among others. Joining the duo is writer Kanika Dhillon.
Dunki is produced by Gauri Khan and Rajkumar Hirani under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Rajkumar Hirani Films, and Jio Studios. The film’s musical score is composed by Pritam.
The film is slated for a global release on December 21, 2023.
