Dunki box office collection day 7: Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu, is good news for the makers as the film has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark in just seven days.
Amid the high excitement of moviegoers, Dunki was opened at a good note and had registered the 8th best opening of 2023. Over the weekend, it took a good jump and did the business of Rs 105.63 crores that included Rs 29.20 crores on Thursday, Rs 20.12 crores on Friday, Rs 25.61 crores on Saturday & 30.70 crores on Sunday.
Proudced by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films, the film had recorded a significant drop in footfalls after the weekend and did the business of Rs 24.32 crores on Monday (Christmas Holiday) & Rs 11.56 crores on Tuesday.
On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it has managed to collect Rs 10.50 crores and raised 7 days total collection to Rs 152.01 crores nett from 4000 screens nationwide.
Dunki marked the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. The story revolves around a group of friends wanting to move abroad, highlighting their challenges on the unique journey known as the Donkey Flight.
