Dunki box office collection day 5: Rajkumar Hirani directed ‘Dunki’, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in lead roles, is steady at the box office.
On Thursday, Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios and Rajkumar Hirani Films’ production took a decent start collecting Rs 29.20 crores. On the second day i.e. Friday, Dunki was affected by the release of Salaar and collected Rs 20.12 crores.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, the film picked up again and managed to collect Rs 25.61 crores and Rs 30.70 crores respectively. After this, it registered a 4-day total of Rs 105.63 crores nett.
On the next day i.e Monday, Dunki recorded a usual decline in footfalls but still remained decent and raked a business of Rs 24.32 crores nett. By the end of day 5, the film registered a total of Rs 129.95 crores nett at the domestic box office.
The film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s third and last release of 2023 following back-to-back action blockbusters in Pathaan and Jawan.
