The most-awaited sequel of the year, Dream Girl 2, is all set to release on 7th July. On Monday i.e 13th Feb, Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media and revealed that Dream Girl Pooja is back. He shared the teaser on Instagram and informed his fans about the release date.
Sharing the teaser, the actor wrote, “BREAKING NEWS: @pooja___dreamgirl is back! #7KoSaathMein dekhenge!” In the teaser, Ayushmann aka Pooja can be heard talking to Shah Rukh Khan.
As per a statement shared in ANI, Ayushmann said, “I am super stoked about `Dream Girl 2!` This is my second outing with Balaji Motion Pictures and I am thankful to Ektaa that she has carried this franchise forward and made it bigger. I have found a friend in Raaj and it’s exciting to team up with him again. Ananya Panday has been paired with me and I am looking forward to seeing the audience’s reaction to our chemistry.”
The first installment which was released in 2019 was a big hit at the box office and was loved by the audience for its unique storyline and Ayushmann’s performance.
Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, the film will have Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh. The film is directed by Raaj Shandilya and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor.
