Dream Girl 2 day 5 box office collection: Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday and Manjot Singh starrer much-awaited comedy-drama has crossed the Rs 50 crores mark at the domestic box office.
Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl 2 had started its journey at a good note and registered the 8th highest opener of the year. Over the weekend, it took a solid jump and did the business of Rs 40.71 crores that included Rs 10.69 crores on Friday, Rs 14.02 crores on Saturday & Rs 16 crores on Sunday.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the comedy drama is now running on weekdays and still maintaining a good pace. On Monday, it had minted the amount of Rs 5.42 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, the film managed to collect Rs 5.87 crores and raised 5 days total collection to Rs 52 crores at the domestic box office.
Dream Girl 2 stars Ayushmann Khurrana as a Jagrata artist who has to resort to subterfuge as his feminine alter-ego Pooja in order to make a quick buck. His goal is to be able to marry his romantic interest, played by Ananya Panday.
The cast includes Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, Asrani and Rajpal Yadav.
