Dream Girl 2 box office collection day 4: Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday-starrer Dream Girl 2 has entered on weekdays at a decent note.
Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film comedy drama has been receiving positive reviews from audiences and critics alike. Amid the hype around the movie, seems like it has managed to hold its own at the box office.
Coming to the box office performances, Dream Girl 2 had started its journey at a good note and registered the 8th highest opener of the year. Over the weekend, it took a solid jump and did the business of Rs 40.71 crores that included Rs 10.69 crores on Friday, Rs 14.02 crores on Saturday & Rs 16 crores on Sunday.
On Monday, Balaji Motion Pictures’s production has recorded less than 50% vis-a-vis Friday and minted the amount of Rs 5.42 crores. After 4 days, the total collection of Dream Girl 2 has become Rs 46.13 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Dream Girl 2 stars Ayushmann Khurrana as a jagrata artiste who has to resort to subterfuge as his feminine alter-ego Pooja in order to make a quick buck. His goal is to be able to marry his romantic interest, played by Ananya Panday. The cast includes Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, Asrani and Rajpal Yadav.
