Dream Girl 2 box office collection day 11: Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial quirky-comedy ‘Dream Girl 2’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the lead roles has continued its dream run at the box office.
The Hindi comedy-drama has gathered a solid word of mouth from critics as well as audience and did the business of Rs 67 crores in the first week. In the second weekend, at a solid note, the film had scored Rs 19.16 crores that included Rs 4.70 crores on Friday, Rs 6.36 crores on Saturday & Rs 8.10 crores on Sunday.
Balaji Motion Pictures production, Dream Girl 2 has now entered on weekdays. On 2nd Monday, it has managed to collect Rs 2.80 crores and raised 11 days total domestic collection to Rs 88.96 crores.
Besides Ayushmann, the film also stars Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh.
It remains to be seen how the film would perform after Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ arrives in theatres on September 7.
