Produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures’ Dream Girl has continues to rule the box office despite three releases last week. The film crossed Rs 100-crore mark on Monday and is still the best-performing film in the cinemas.
Directed by Raaj Shaandilya, Dream Girl has received positive reviews from the critics and got succeed to entertain the audience due to the fun flavor added by leading actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor and Manjot Singh.
In the first week, it did the business of 72.20 crores which included 44.57 crores in the weekend & 27.63 crores on weekdays across India. Then in the second weekend, it managed to rake 25.45 crores with 5.30 crores on 2nd Friday, 9.10 crores on 2nd Saturday & 11.05 crores on 2nd Sunday.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer is now running on weekdays once again and but still has a good hold over the audience. On 2nd Monday, the film managed to remain strong and collected the amount of 3.75 crores.
On 2nd Tuesday, due to a normal working day, this comedy drama faced a normal drop and minted 3.30 crores. On the next day i.e. 2nd Wednesday, with a further decline, Dream Girl bagged the amount of 3.10 crores and raised 13 days total collection to 107.80 crores at the domestic box office.
