Divyenndu Sharma will forever be iconic as Mirzapur’s Prince Munna Tripathi. There has been a lot of buzz about whether Munna Tripathi will return in Mirzapur Season 3. Now, Divyenndu himself is breaking his silence, and what he has to say will shock the Mirzapur fans.
in an interview with Humans of Bombay that he is no more a part of the web-series. Divyenndu said, “On Humans of Bombay, I shall declare, I am not a part of Mirzapur Season 3.”
He elaborated on the reason and continued, “When I was in character, it was affecting my personality a lot. We shouldn’t over-romanticise going too deep into a character, because it is not easy. At times, it used to get really dark for me. I felt suffocated. It’s so tricky that you don’t even realise that you are in that zone. It’s only when you come out of it do you realise how dark it was.”
Divyenndu played one of the principal characters in his political crime thriller. The first season of the show was streamed on Amazon Prime in 2018, and the second season happened in 2020.
While the third installment was underworks since June last year, the show is finally set to return with a new season this year.
