Actress Divya Khossla has left everyone impressed with her amazing performance in SAVI. For the film, Divya seems to have pushed the envelope. From her last outing on screen in Yaariyan 2, where her character Laadli Chibber was a cheerful one, Divya will now be seen in an intense action-packed avatar in SAVI. At the trailer launch Abhinay Deo, Divya Khossla, and Mukesh Bhatt were lauded for making a film that matches an international scale.
When asked why she chose a character that was so layered, Divya shared, “It was a conscious choice. Careerwise I am very selective in the films I do and whatever I take up, I make sure the character has scope and I present something new to the audience.”
“The way Abhinay has shot the film and presented it, his clarity of vision, all the credit goes to him. He made the journey with Savi quite seamless. We were shooting in minus 6 degrees, but never in that 45-day long schedule, I got physically drained. The schedule was quite hectic, but production-wise it was all so well organized. I have worked in a few films where we just rested for a few hours and had to get back on set, but here we were well rested,” Divya revealed.
She further added, “Deo’s efforts have made the film look so international.”
An Abhinay Deo film Savi – The Bloody Housewife is produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, under the banners of Vishesh Films and T-Series. Shiv Chanana and Sakshi Bhatt have joined in as co-producers. The film appears to be a thriller, however, to know what is the story behind a simple housewife taking such a big risk head to theatres near you on 31st May, 2024.
