Due to the strong run of last week’s i Smart Shankar, the latest offering of director Bharath Kamma, Dear Comrade is getting affected on weekdays. Due to positive word of mouth, it is heading steadily at the box office though, but on a low note.
Starring the very talented Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles alongside the strong supporting cast, Dear Comrade stands high on content and performances. It has impressed all the viewers with the engaging, story-line and received mostly positive reviews from the critics.
Dear Comrade, opened on a fair note but picked up well from evening shows due to positive reactions. By remaining steady throughout the opening weekend, it did the business of 12.83 crores, that included 7.48 crores of Friday, 2.49 crores of Saturday and 2.86 crores of Sunday at the AP/TG box office.
Now Dear Comrade is running on weekdays and as usual, faced an abrupt drop in footfalls. On Monday, it faced huge drop and minted the amount of 1.10 crores. With a slight more dip, Vijay starrer raked the business of 0.40 crores on Tuesday. With this, the total collection of the film after 5 days has become 14.33 crores at the AP/TG box office.
Directed by Bharat Kamma, the movie is jointly produced by Big Ben Cinemas and Mythri Movie Makers. Originally made in Telugu, the movie was released in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
