Dasara box office collection day 8: The recently released movie Dasara, starring Natural Star Nani, has taken the box office by storm. In just six days since its release, Dasara has entered the coveted 100 crore club.
Dasara had started its journey at a terrific note, due to a positive word of mouth. Over the extended opening weekend, it did the business of Rs 57.65 crores that included Rs 23.20 crores on Thursday, Rs 9.75 crores on Friday, Rs 12.10 crores on Saturday and Rs 12.60 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas’ production had entered at a decent note and minted the amount of Rs 3.65 crores on Monday. With the further decline, it managed to collect Rs 3.25 crores on Tuesday & Rs 2.50 crores on Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. Thursday, Dasara bagged the amount of Rs 2.03 crores and raised its one week total collection to Rs 69.08 crores including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam version. While at the worldwide box office, it has grossed around Rs 103 crores plus.
The movie, directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas banner, has become a blockbuster hit all over the nation.
