Crew box office collection day 2: The much awaited first ever collaboration of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon, Crew opened on a surprising note on Friday.
Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the crime-comedy drama Crew has received mixed reviews from the critics but got succeed to entertain the audience with its mindblowing performance performed by lead star cast.
On Friday, at a good note, Crew did the business of Rs 10.28 crores. Then on the next day i.e. Saturday, Balaji Motion Pictures, Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network’s production took a little jump and bagged the amount of Rs 10.87 crores. With this, its 2 days total collection has become Rs 21.15 crores nett.
Reportedly, Crew has been released across 2000 theatres. It premiered in over 75 countries, spanning more than 1100 locations. The estimated budget for the film, covering production and advertising expenses, reportedly stands around Rs 60 crore.
Crew is a story of three women and is touted as a laugh-riot, set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. However, their destinies lead to some unwarranted situations and they get caught in a web of lies.
