Finally, the much-awaited news is out! Kamal Haasan is on board as an antagonist in Nag Ashwin’s Project K featuring Prabhas with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The makers today announced that Kamal Haasan will be seen playing an antagonist in the much-waited movie.
The production house (Vyjayanthi Films) tweeted, “ Welcoming the greatest actor Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan. Our journey becomes Universal now. #ProjectK (sic).”
Sharing his thoughts about Kamal Haasan joining the film, producer Aswani Dutt said, “It was always a dream for me to work with Mr. Kamal Haasan for the longest time of my career. With ‘Project K’ now it’s a dream come true. It’s a great moment for any producer to be working with two legendary actors together – Mr. Kamal Haasan and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. It’s truly a blessing for me in the 50th year of my career.”
As per reports, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas will be seen locking horns in ‘Project K’. The movie will heavily depend on graphics and VFX. Almost 70-75 per cent of the movie is completed. Deepika and Big B have a few days of shooting left.
Director Nag Ashwin’s Project K, also stars Disha Patani, is one of the expensive Indian films in production at the moment. The film is all set to release in theatres on January 12, 2024.
