A gentle reminder that we got the scoop on this title well in advance to you.
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Mahaan went on floors in early 2021. Tentatively titled Chiyaan 60, the film will see Vikram in the lead role. The cast and crew wrapped up shooting on August 14.
This is the first film where Vikram will share screen space with his son Dhruv Vikram. Set in North Madras, Mahaan is said to be a thriller. Seven Screen Studios will be producing the film. Santhosh Narayanan will compose music for Mahaan.
The shooting was wrapped up recently, and will be Subbaraj’s next after his Jagame Thandhiram with Dhanush. Meanwhile, Vikram is also wrapping up Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Cobra, in which he sports multiple avatars again. The release date of Mahaan is expected to be announced shortly.
