Chhaava 8th day box office collection: Vicky Kaushal’s new film based on the life of Sambhaji, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, Chhaava entered its second week on Friday and is carrying on with its brilliant box office performance with ease.
With a positive word of mouth, Laxman Utekar’s directorial had done the business of Rs 121.43 crores in the opening weekend that included Rs 33.10 crores on Friday, Rs 39.30 crores on Saturday & Rs 49.03 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, with a strong pace, it had minted Rs 24.10 crores on Monday, Rs 25.75 crores on Tuesday, Rs 32.40 crores on Wednesday & Rs 21.60 crores on Thursday. After a week, the total collection of Chhaava was recorded at Rs 225.28 crores nett.
Now in the new week, despite the new release, it has remained unaffected and managed to collect the amount of Rs 24.03 crores. After 8 days, its total collection has become Rs 249.31 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Produced by Maddock Films, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Varun Buddhadev, Vineet Kumar Singh, Santosh Juvekar, Alok Nath, Somaji Pradeep Rawat and Kiran Karmarkar.
