Chhaava 6th day box office collection: Chhaava, the latest period drama starring Vicky Kaushal, continued to rule the ticket windows and saw a major jump in collections on Wednesday due to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti holiday.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the period action drama has expectedly gathered a positive word of mouth and as a result, running strongly at the box office since its release. In the opening weekend, it had raked the business of Rs 121.43 crores that included Rs 33.10 crores on Friday, Rs 39.30 crores on Saturday & Rs 49.03 crores on Sunday.
Chhaava is now running on weekdays and still has a solid hold over the audience across the country. On Monday, it had managed to collect Rs 24.10 crores, while scored Rs 25.75 crores on Tuesday after a good jump. On Wednesday, with further growth, it has bagged Rs 32.40 crores and raised 6 days domestic total collection to Rs 203.68 crores nett.
Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film features Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Varun Buddhadev, Vineet Kumar Singh, Santosh Juvekar, Alok Nath, Somaji Pradeep Rawat and Kiran Karmarkar.
The plot of the movie revolves around the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his fight against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
