Chandu Champion box office collection day 3: Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion recorded a decent collection on its third day at the box office. The film saw a slight increase in collections on June 16.
On the opening day, Chandu Champion recorded poor occupancy of around 15-16% and did the business of only Rs 5.40 crore. On Saturday, it reported a slight jump over the weekend and did a business of Rs 7.70 crores.
With further growth, the film minted Rs 11.01 crores on Sunday and registered a 3-day total collection of Rs 24.11 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Chandu Champion is based on the life of India’s first-ever Paralympics gold medallist and Padma Shri recipient Murlikant Petkar. The film revolves around the never-give-up attitude of Murlikant Petkar. Chandu Champion, which was released on June 14, is jointly backed by Kabir Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Pen Studios.
Apart from Kartik Aaryan, the film features Vijay Raaz, Shreyas Talpade, Rajpal Yadav, Bhagyashree and Sonali Kulkarni.
