Border 2 1st day box office collection: Border 2 made a colossal entry at the box office with a massive Day 1, opening to impressive numbers and standing tall at 32.10 CR NBOC, emerging as one of the biggest openings in recent times. From early morning shows onwards, cinemas witnessed massive footfalls, as audiences turned up in huge numbers to mark a monumental Republic Day opening.
The film is expected to enter the Rs 100 crore club by the end of its third day on Sunday. Any additional gains on Republic Day, Monday, will be an added bonus. With word of mouth largely positive, Border 2 could be eyeing a Rs 150 crore nett total in India by the end of Monday.
Border 2 benefits from a strong legacy, driven by Sunny Deol’s enduring goodwill and love for the 1997 classic Border. The film also features solid performances from Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, among others.
