In a significant development for Hindi cinema, Bhushan Kumar and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri are set to collaborate on a feature film inspired by Operation Sindoor. The project is expected to be mounted on a large scale and will reportedly draw from recent real-world events tied to India’s national security operations.

The film will be produced under Kumar’s banner, T-Series, in association with Agnihotri’s I Am Buddha Productions. This marks a notable partnership between the two, combining T-Series’ production muscle with Agnihotri’s reputation for politically charged and research-driven storytelling.
The film is said to draw inspiration from the codename of India’s targeted military strikes on terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. According to the source, the narrative will be based on developments that followed the tragic massacre of innocent civilians — most of them tourists — in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
While the makers have yet to unveil an official announcement detailing the cast or production timeline, industry sources indicate that pre-production discussions are already underway.
An official reveal is expected soon.
