Bhooth Bangla 1st day box office collection: The much-anticipated horror comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, has opened to a decent response at the box office on its first day.
As per early estimates, the film earned Rs 3.50 crore from Thursday paid previews, followed by Rs 13.67 crore on Friday, taking its total Day 1 collection to Rs 17.17 crore.
While not a record-breaking opening, Bhooth Bangla has managed a respectable start, especially for a horror-comedy. The film is expected to benefit from weekend footfall, which could significantly boost its overall collections.
Initial audience reactions have been mixed to positive, with appreciation for the film’s comic moments and performances, though its pace and screenplay have received some criticism.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla reunites Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar in the genre after their popular collaboration Bhool Bhulaiyaa. It also features key performances by Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Jisshu Sengupta, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
