The laughter and chills on set may have come to a close, but the excitement is just getting started. The much-anticipated horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla has officially wrapped up shooting, and fans can expect to see the film come alive on the big screen on 2nd April, 2026.
Headlined by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and the rising star Wamiqa Gabbi, Bhooth Bangla promises a rollercoaster of emotions — from laugh-out-loud comedy to eerie supernatural thrills. The cast and crew took to social media to share their feelings as the cameras rolled for the final time, with a bittersweet message:
“Yeh darr aur hasi ke mahaul mein we are getting emotional as we wrap #BhoothBangla! But abhi ke liye sirf shooting khatam hui hai, you’ll be meeting your favourite jodi in this epic horror-comedy in the theatres, on 2nd April, 2026. @priyadarshandir @akshaykumar #WamiqaGabbi!”
Akshay Kumar also took to his social media handle and wrote, “And that’s a wrap on #BhoothBangla ! My seventh madcap adventure with the ever-inventive @priyadarshandir sir, my second outing with the unstoppable @EktaaRKapoor, and my first but hopefully not the last, magical journey with the ever-surprising Wamiqa. Grateful for the madness, the magic, and the memories. 🎬♥️”
Besides the two stars, Bhooth Bangla also stars Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Naurang Yadav, Jaaved Jaaferi, Jisshu Sengupta and many others in key roles. The upcoming horror-comedy film directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures.
