Batla House, starring John Abraham is enjoying a steady run at the box office, despite stiff competition from Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal, which released on the same day (August 15). Also, it has surpassed the lifetime total collection of Article 15 {65.45 crores} within 8 days of release at the domestic box office.
Batla House is directed by Nikhil Advani and has received positive reviews from the critics because of its story-line and some flaws in direction. But this action entertainer got succeed to entertain the single screen audience and gained a good word of mouth.
John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer was released amid the very good excitement of fans and took an amazing start. Batla House did the business of 47.99 crores, that included 15.55 crores on Thursday, 8.84 crores on Friday, 9.18 crores on Saturday, and 10.90 crores on Sunday.
Now Batla House is running on weekdays and as usual, getting lower footfalls in theaters. On Monday, it faced a drop of 42.88% than Friday and minted the amount of 5.05 crores. Then on Tuesday, with a similar response, the movie managed to collect the amount of 4.78 crores. On the next day i.e. 2nd Wednesday, Batla House witnessed a steady and raked the business of 4.24 crores.
On the next day i.e. 2nd Thursday, T-Series & Emmay Entertainment’ presentation got dropped again and bagged the amount of 3.78 crores. With this, the total collection of Batla House after the 8-days extended opening week has become 65.84 crores nett at the domestic box office.
