Two years after its title announcement, singer and music composer’s Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘high-octane action musical’ – Badass Ravi Kumar finally has a release date. The film, a spinoff of Himesh’s highly meme-d 2014 film The Xpose, is scheduled to hit theatres on February 7. Today film’s trailer dropped on social media.
Himesh Reshammiya took to social media to share the trailer of the film. He wrote, “Badass Ravi Kumar trailer is here , in cinemas 7 th Feb , A Himesh Reshammiya retro action musical , , Jai Matadi Let’s Rock , 80s type ki picture give it all your love ❤️.”
It features Reshammiya in the title role and the biggest surprise will be Prabhu Deva who will essay the role of a villain, Carlos Pedro Panther. for the first time, a larger than life eccentric villain against Ravi Kumar.
Directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, Badass Ravi Kumar also features Kirti Kulhari, Sunny Leone, Sanjay Mishra, Johny Lever, Manish Wadhwa, Anil George, Rajesh Sharma, Prashant Narayan, Saurabh Sachdeva and debutante Simona.
Badass Ravi Kumar features 16 songs, including a seven-song medley, all produced under his label, Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, adding significant commercial value to the project.
