A decade after the cinematic phenomenon began, director S.S. Rajamouli has officially announced the global re-release of the Baahubali saga in a brand-new form — Baahubali: The Epic. This seamless, reimagined cut brings together the two original films into one monumental theatrical experience, releasing on October 31, 2025.
Director SS Rajamouli wrote, “Baahubali… The beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025.”
The Baahubali franchise, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj, first took Indian cinema by storm with Baahubali: The Beginning in July 2015. Two years later, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion shattered box office records and answered the most famous question in Indian pop culture: “Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?”
Now, ten years after the saga began, Rajamouli and his team are celebrating this milestone by offering fans a never-before-seen cinematic experience. Baahubali: The Epic is set for a worldwide theatrical release on October 31, 2025.
It will be screened in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and English — targeting both returning fans and new international audiences who may have missed the original releases in theatres.
