The title track of the film ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, has been released. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya and performed by Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, the song reflects director Sooraj Barjatya’s signature style, emphasising warmth, emotion and the family-oriented themes central to the movie.
The song focuses on the marriage of the characters played by Khurrana and Sharvari, depicting family gatherings and traditional rituals.
This film marks Barjatya’s return to directing following his National Award-winning film ‘Uunchai’. Known for his family-centric storytelling, Barjatya revisits one of his most iconic cinematic elements: the character named Prem. According to the makers, “With Yeh Prem Mol Liya, Rajshri’s beloved character – Prem – makes a return to the big screen after 12 years.”
Ayushmann Khurrana assumes the role of Prem for the first time, offering his own interpretation of this character long associated with the Rajshri banner. Sharvari, his co-star, also appears alongside him for the first time.
The film reunites Barjatya with composer Himesh Reshammiya, following their collaboration on ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Music continues to play a crucial role in Barjatya’s films, with the makers expressing high expectations for another memorable soundtrack in this project.
Yeh Prem Mol Liya is scheduled to release theatrically on November 27.
