The trailer of Udta Teer is out, offering the first glimpse of the upcoming comedy entertainer starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan. Backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, the film blends comedy, action and adventure, with the trailer introducing its ensemble of characters and the chaotic situations at the centre of the story.
Directed by Akash A Kaushik in his directorial debut, Udta Teer promises a fast-paced narrative driven by comic situations, action sequences and ensemble humour. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan headline the cast, while the supporting ensemble features Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe.
The trailer offers glimpses of the chemistry between the lead actors and the varied situations involving the film’s characters. Alongside its comic set pieces, the trailer incorporates action and adventure elements, positioning Udta Teer as a theatrical entertainer that brings multiple genres together.
The film marks another collaboration between Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. It is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain.
For Ayushmann Khurrana, the project adds another theatrical release to his upcoming slate, while Sara Ali Khan returns to the big screen in a comedy-led ensemble. The film also brings together actors from different generations, adding to its ensemble-driven format.
With the trailer now released, Udta Teer has officially begun its theatrical campaign. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 9, 2026.
