Awarapan 2 7th day box office collection: Awarapan 2 has completed its first week at the box office on a triumphant note. The film has recorded a strong run across Tier 2 and Tier 3 centres, along with non-national cinema chains, bringing fresh optimism to the Hindi film industry.
The film opened its first weekend with Rs 23.40 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 34.09 crore on Saturday and Rs 26.82 crore on Sunday. Despite the expected weekday drop, Awarapan 2 maintained a healthy pace, earning Rs 10.06 crore on Monday, Rs 10.26 crore on Tuesday, Rs 7 crore on Wednesday and Rs 6.03 crore on Thursday, taking its Week 1 total to an impressive Rs 117.66 crore.
With no major Hindi release arriving on Friday, Awarapan 2 is expected to benefit from relatively open screens and could post a solid second weekend. The film’s momentum will, however, face a challenge from the midweek arrival of Toxic on Wednesday, August 26.
