Bollywood fans are buzzing with anticipation as Aryan Khan, the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is set to release the first look of his much-anticipated directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, on August 17, 2025.
Unlike his father who dominates the silver screen, Aryan Khan is carving his own path in the entertainment industry—not as an actor, but as a storyteller. The Bads of Bollywood marks his first venture as a writer and director, in collaboration with Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix.
Adding to the buzz, superstar Shah Rukh Khan hosted an Ask SRK session on X (formerly Twitter), and expressed his excitement about his son’s debut. He and Netflix, together announced that the first look from Ba***ds Of Bollywood will be out tomorrow, August 17. It all began when a fan asked SRK when they would get to see some ‘material’ on Ba***ds Of Bollywood.
“So many people asking so have to tell Netflix….Beta show bana raha hai, Baap sirf wait kar raha hai… @NetflixIndia Tum kya Kar rahe ho??!!”, wrote King Khan. “Bete ka teaser post karne se pehle baap se permission chahiye thi. The first look will be out tomorrow,” replied the OTT platform.
To this, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Yes yes yes. Please tell me the time also as Aryan doesn’t tell me anything. Aapke saath toh purana rishta hai…so please tell me and everyone else. Too excited. Here’s to a great First Look. Thanks.”
It was then Netflix informed that the first look of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood will be revealed at 11 am on August 17.
