Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is one of the most-awaited films this year. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, he will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. The makers dropped the teaser on Kapoor’s birthday and it got a thundering response from the viewers.
Recently the news has gone viral on the Internet, where it is reported that the lead actor has slashed his fees for the film. Yes, you heard that right! As per report, Ranbir reduced his fees by 50 percent.
As per the Pinkvilla report, “Ranbir Kapoor is charging an upfront fee of Rs 30-35 crores for Animal. The amount of fees reduced by the actor has been spent on improving the production value of his gangster-drama. Ranbir Kapoor shall have a share in the profits, if money is made on the film, which at this point looks very likely.”
Animal revolves around a troubled father-son relationship, set in the backdrop of extreme bloodshed of the underworld which leads to the protagonist to turn into a psychopath. A son’s obsessive love for his father. Often away due to work the father is unable to comprehend the intensity of his son’s love.
Animal, also feature Rasmika Mandanna as the leading lady, while Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol are seen essaying pivotal parts. The gangster-drama will hit the screens on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
