Following the huge success of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor has a number of intriguing and divisive films in the works, including Love & War, Animal Park, and Ramayana.
The sequel to Animal will see Kapoor reunite with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the ultra-violent movie has been deemed as a ‘darker, meaner’ instalment.
In a new interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bhushan Kumar, Animal Park’s co-producer and T-Series’ head honcho, recently disclosed an exciting update about the action thriller film.
Kumar shared that Vanga is currently focused on his next Telugu film, Spirit, which stars Prabhas in the lead. “We will have a six-month gap and then immediately Animal Park,” Kumar said, indicating that work on Animal Park would commence shortly after Spirit wraps up production.
However, in a report from India Today, Sandeep Reddy Vanga hinted that Animal Park would take an even darker and grittier approach. While Vanga previously indicated that shooting might begin in 2026, Kumar’s recent statement has sparked excitement with a much sooner timeline.
