Animal and Sam Bahadur box office collection day 5: The tsunami continues for Ranbir Kapoor’s film, ‘Animal’. Not only single theatres, the multiplexes have also been witnessing the Animal waves as the audience rushing to the theatres to catch a show.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal took an earth-shattering start on Friday with Rs 54.75 crores. Over the weekend, as expected, the film witnessed excellent growth and collected Rs 58.37 crores on Saturday and Rs 63.46 crores on Sunday.
On Monday, T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1 Studios’ production remained super-strong and raked a huge business of Rs 40.06 crores. On Tuesday, the movie did a business of Rs 34.02 crores and registered a 5-day total of Rs 250.66 crores nett.
In South languages, Animal collects Rs 33.39 crores in three days which included Rs 9.05 crore on Friday, Rs 8.90 crore on Saturday, Rs 7.23 crore on Sunday, Rs 4.41 crore on Monday and Rs 3.80 crore on Tuesday.
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur did the business of Rs 25.55 crores in three days which included Rs 9.05 crore on Friday, Rs 8.90 crore on Saturday, Rs 7.23 crore on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, RSVP’ presentation has recorded a significant drop in footfalls and had minted the amount of Rs 3.50 crore on Monday. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, the film has managed to collect Rs 2.50 crore* and raised 5 days total collection to Rs 31.55 crores* nett.
