Animal and Sam Bahadur box office collection day 3: Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ released on December 1 in multiple languages and opened to huge numbers on Day 1. The movie has grossed over Rs 350 crore at the worldwide box office.
On Friday it took an extraordinary start and did a business of Rs 54.75 crores, which is the biggest opening for Ranbir Kapoor. With some growth on Saturday, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial managed to score Rs 58.37 crores on board. Then on Sunday, it picked up by a solid rate and raked a business of Rs 63.46 crores. After 3 days, Animal registered a total of Rs 176.58 crores nett from Hindi version.
While, In South languages, Animal collects Rs 25.18 crore in three days which included Rs 9.05 crore on Friday, Rs 8.90 crore on Saturday and Rs 7.23 crore on Sunday.
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur is enjoying good support from the multiplex audience across India. On Friday, it opened on an overall decent note and did a respectable business of Rs 6.25 crores despite a mammoth in the opposite.
As expected, the Meghna Gulzar’s directorial took an excellent jump on Saturday and minted Rs 9 crores at the box office. With further growth on Sunday, Sam Bahadur managed to collect Rs 10.30 crores nett and registered a 3-day total of Rs 25.55 crores nett.
