Animal and Sam Bahadur box office collection day 2: After a blockbuster opening on Friday, Ranbir Kapoor’s latest offering Animal has witnessed a solid jump in footfalls on Saturday. In parallel, the adjacent release Sam Bahadur has also shown good growth.
On Friday, Animal took a terrific start with an occupancy of around 50% in the morning. Over the evening & night shows, it had recorded solid growth in mass circuits and registered the 3rd highest opening of the year so far in Hindi Cinema with Rs 54.75 crores, which is the best of Ranbir’s career.
On the next day i.e. Saturday, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial showed a jump and bagged the amount of Rs 58.37 crores. With this, the total collection of Animal after 2 days has become Rs 113.12 crores nett from Hindi screens. While, In South languages, Animal collects Rs 17.95 cro in two days which included Rs 9.05 crore on Friday and Rs 8.90 crore on Saturday.
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur has got succeed to convince critics and received mostly positive reviews. As a result, on Friday, it had managed to score Rs 6.25 crore which was higher than expectations.
On Saturday, RSVP’ presentation has also recorded a good jump in the north vis-a-vis Friday and bagged the amount of Rs 9 crores. After 2 days, the total collection of Sam Bahadur has become Rs 15.25 crores nett at the domestic box office.
