Animal and Sam Bahadur box office collection day 1: Two new Hindi films were released on Friday from different genres. The first one is Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which has a blockbuster start. While second-release Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur has taken a decent start.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri. The film has opened on a phenomenal note with around 47% occupancy in the morning on Friday. Going stronger till the end of the day.
As the result, T-Series Films, Bhadrakali Pictures & Cine1 Studios’ production registered the third biggest opening ever in Hindi cinema with Rs 54.75 crores nett.
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub starrer biographical war drama Sam Bahadur has registered decent opening numbers at the box office despite having a mammoth Animal in the opposite.
On the first day, Meghna Gulzar’s directorial opened on a low note with an occupancy of only 15% in the morning and managed to collect the amount of Rs 6.25 crores with decent growth over the evening & night shows in multiplexes.
