The makers of the upcoming Hindi movie Love Lottery have released its romantic song ‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’, featuring lead actors Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala. Sung by Javed Ali and Radhika Bhide, the soulful track has been composed by Varun Mishra and Arvind Pandey, with lyrics penned by Arvind Pandey. The song beautifully captures the chemistry between Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala, with the picturesque landscapes and natural beauty of Uttarakhand adding a distinct charm to the romantic track.
Shot across the scenic locations of Uttarakhand, ‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’ brings out the softer and emotional side of the characters played by Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala. Their effortless and natural chemistry, combined with the serene surroundings, gives the song an intimate and visually appealing quality. Cinematographer Naviin V. Mishra captures the beauty of the valleys and landscapes while complementing the romantic mood of the song.
The choreography by Devendra Chaturvedi ‘David’ adds to the visual flow of the track, keeping the romantic moments natural and in sync with the emotions of the characters. Rather than relying on an elaborate treatment, the makers have kept the romance grounded and organic, allowing the emotions between the two characters to remain at the heart of the song.
Talking about the song, director and music director Arvind Pandey says, “With ‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’, we wanted to explore the emotional and romantic side of our characters in a very natural manner. Uttarakhand was the perfect setting because its beauty is raw, peaceful and cinematic. Akshay and Heli share a very effortless chemistry, and we wanted that to come through without making the romance feel forced or overly stylised. Musically, the intention was to create a soulful melody that connects with the emotions of the characters and becomes an important part of their journey.”
Producer Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ says, “The subject of Love Lottery is sensitive, and our biggest responsibility was to present it with balance and maturity. The film explores how love, trust and marriage can sometimes take an unexpected turn. ‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’ gives audiences a glimpse into the emotional relationship between the characters before the story enters its more complex and dramatic space. We wanted the song to be beautiful and relatable, and the natural beauty of Uttarakhand has made it even more special.”
Produced under the banner of Cinema Ganj Films by Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’, Love Lottery is directed by Arvind Pandey and written by Ankur Khattri. The film features Akshay Oberoi, Heli Daruwala and Kabir Duhan Singh in prominent roles, along with Vijayant Kohli, Santosh Shukla, Hemant Pandey, Indira Krishnan, Agni Agyari, Vikramm Sharma, Kumar Saurabh, Ashwannt Lodhi and Arshdep Ssandhu in pivotal roles.
The film’s cinematography is by Naviin V. Mishra, choreography is by Devendra Chaturvedi ‘David’, and editing is by Prakash Jha.
