Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is taking fans on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The actor recently shared a teaser video with Disha Patani, where the duo recreates the iconic track “Uncha Lamba Kad” from the 2007 hit film Welcome. The recreation is part of the upcoming comedy entertainer Welcome To The Jungle / Welcome 3, the third film in the popular Welcome franchise.
Sharing the clip on social media, Akshay wrote, ““From our hearts to yours!! What a throwback, 18 years & still an all-time favourite. With so much nostalgia, beautiful Disha & I bring you ‘Welcome to the Jungle’… Never forgetting our Queen Katrina.”
In the teaser, Akshay and Disha groove to the recreated beats of the evergreen song, originally picturised on Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Akshay also gives a sweet shoutout to Katrina, saying, “We miss you, Katrina!” — a gesture that fans quickly picked up as a heartwarming nod to his longtime co-star.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle promises to deliver the same slapstick humor and star-studded chaos the franchise is famous for. Alongside Akshay and Disha, the film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and several others.
With its nostalgic energy, catchy beats, and a heartfelt tribute to Katrina Kaif, Welcome To The Jungle is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Bollywood comedies of 2026.
