After making waves in its home country, Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Akelli is now set to captivate audiences in Israel and worldwide as it gains official selection at the prestigious 39th Haifa International Film Festival.
As “Akelli” prepares to take center stage at the Haifa International Film Festival, it only proves that art has no boundaries. The collaboration between India and Israel through Akelli in the world of cinema reflects the growing cultural exchange between the two nations. Israeli actors Tsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous’s contributions to the film enrich its narrative, adding depth and authenticity to their respective roles.
Producer Ninad Vaidya expressed his excitement about the film’s selection, saying, “We are thrilled and honored that Akelli has been chosen for the 39th Haifa International Film Festival. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We can’t wait to share this cinematic gem with the world.”
Producer Vicky Sidana said, “Bringing ‘Akelli’ to an international audience is a dream come true. We hope the film resonates with viewers in Israel and around the world, just as it did in India.”
Lead actress Nushrratt Bharuccha added, “Akelli is a project close to my heart, and I’m delighted that it will have its world premiere at such a prestigious festival. This film has been a labor of love for all of us, and we can’t wait to share it with the audience in Israel.”
The premiere, which is set to be held on 4th October, will be attended by the entire star cast, celebrating the film’s theatrical release in Israel as well. The event will begin at 7.30 in the evening with the screening scheduled at 8.15 pm.
