Director Magizh Thirumeni’s much-awaited action entertainer ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, featuring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead, will release on February 6 this year, its makers announced on Thursday.
The trailer offers a glimpse into a world of intense stakes and explosive action, headlined by Ajith Kumar and Arjun Sarja in powerful roles. Ajith and Trisha portray a loving couple, but the trailer hints at an enigmatic twist that disrupts their lives, forcing Ajith’s character into a relentless pursuit of justice.
Vidaamuyarchi stars Trisha as the female lead, reuniting once again with Ajith Kumar after Yennai Arindhal. The film also stars Regina Cassandra, Arjun Sarja, Aarva, and others in important roles. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the film for which the cinematography is done by Om Prakash.
Initially, the Ajith Kumar-starrer was expected to release on January 10. However, the producers backed off 10 days ahead and postponed the release. Now, along with the trailer, the release date of the film has been announced as February 6.
Vidaamuyarchi has been certified U/A and has a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The post-theatrical streaming rights of Vidaamuyarchi have been bagged by Netflix.
