The much-awaited sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Raid, Raid 2, will be released on May 1, 2025. The film features Ajay Devgn in the lead role, and Riteish Deshmukh as the antagonist.
Now, the makers are set to start a promotional campaign with the teaser a month before the film’s release on May 1, 2025.
A source quoted by Pinkvilla revealed, “Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat, and Bhushan Kumar are reaching out directly to the audience with the communication of being the next big-ticket releases for the big screen. Being a quintessential Hero vs Villain story, the makers are aiming to reach out to the least common denominator.”
The source added, “While a digital launch will take place towards the end of next week, audiences will get to see it on the big screen from March 30.”
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Amay Pathak, Ritesh Deshmukh was cast as the villain, while Vaani Kapoor was cast alongside Devgn, replacing Ileana D’Cruz.
