Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino has been facing multiple delays since its initial announcement, leading to fresh speculation about its release. The film, starring Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and an ensemble cast, was first scheduled for 2024 but has been postponed repeatedly.
Recent reports suggested that Basu is currently prioritizing his romantic drama with Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, which has fueled concerns that Metro… In Dino might not hit theaters until 2026.
However, T-Series spokesperson clarified, stating, “On the contrary of some media reports claiming that Metro In Dino is getting pushed, we confirm the movie releasing this year in 2025.”
Metro… In Dino was announced as a spiritual successor to Life In A… Metro and aimed to explore the complexities of modern relationships in urban India.
Backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
