Adipurush box office collection week 1: Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush is witnessing decline in its box-office number with each passing day.
Despite such good promotions, it seems the film was harmed by critical reviews, due to its VFX, dialogues, appearance of characters and much more. From the audience as well, it is not getting the desired response due to unfavourable word of mouth.
After registering second highest opening of the year so far in Hindi cinema with Rs 37.25 crores, this mythological action film got failed to take jump on Saturday and minted the amount of Rs 37 crores. Then on Sunday with little growth, the film managed to garner Rs 38 crores and raised it’s opening weekend total to 64.77 crores.
After the solid weekend, Adipurush was heavily crashed on Monday and raked the business of Rs 8.50 crores. With further falls in the business graph, it fetched the business of Rs 5.50 crores on Tuesday and Rs 3.80 crores on Wednesday.
On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Om Raur’s directorial witnessed more dip and bagged the amount of Rs 2.90 crores. With this, one week total collection of Adipurush has become Rs 132.95 crores from Hindi screens.
While, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions raked Rs 108.85 crores in the first weekend with Rs 49.50 crores on Friday, Rs 28.25 crores on Saturday and Rs 31.10 crores on Sunday. On Monday, T-Series Films and Retrophiles’ production had managed to collect Rs 7.50 crore, Rs 5.20 crore on Tuesday, Rs 3.45 crores on Wednesday and Rs 1.95 crores on Thursday. After 7 days, the total collection of the film has become Rs 126.95 crores nett.
