The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Adbhut was released by the makers on Saturday. Written and directed by Sabbir Khan, the film also stars Diana Penty, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rohan Mehra in pivotal roles.
The trailer opens with a couple, Shreya and Rohan, moving into a new apartment. Shreya encounters strange things happening in the house and they call upon Nawazuddin, who plays a detective to find what is happening. As he investigates, Diana’s character is thought to be involved in the supernatural things happening to others.
The film promises to be an exploration of what goes beyond the realm of rationality, featuring some horrifying images and jump scares.
Abdhut is produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Sabbir Khan Films. Shot by Binod Pradhan and edited by Manan Sagar, it will be premiering on Sony Max on September 15 at 8pm, in a direct to television release.
