Aamir Khan Productions has today released the first look poster for its upcoming film, “Sitaare Zameen Par,” generating significant excitement among fans and industry insiders. The film, directed by R. S. Prasanna, is being described as a spiritual successor to Khan’s critically acclaimed 2007 film, “Taare Zameen Par.”
The first look features Aamir Khan surrounded by a group of individuals. The poster also reveals the film’s tagline: “Sabka Apna Apna Normal,” hinting at the film’s themes of inclusivity and celebrating individual differences.
The film will launch these debutants, Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar, under Aamir Khan Productions.
“Sitaare Zameen Par” promises to be a film that explores themes of mental health, love, laughter, and happiness. While “Taare Zameen Par” focused on learning disabilities, “Sitaare Zameen Par” is expected to broaden its scope, addressing mental health and inclusivity with a blend of humor and emotional depth. The film draws inspiration from the 2018 Spanish film “Champions.”
The release of the first look comes after a delay in the trailer launch. The trailer was initially scheduled for release in late April but was postponed as a mark of respect following the Pahalgam tragedy.
The film stars Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, and Darsheel Safary. “Sitaare Zameen Par” is currently scheduled for release on June 20, 2025.
